Delete from inside the app
Open Ribbonside, go to Account, choose Delete account, then follow the confirmation steps. The app asks you to type DELETE before it sends the deletion request.
You can erase local health records while keeping your account, delete individual records, or delete your Ribbonside account.
This deletes local-vault content from that device, including local health records, documents, photos, appointments, medications, notes, questions, symptoms and other local records where applicable.
Your online account, consent, subscription, support, security and AI usage-limit records remain unless you delete your account or make a separate deletion request. The retention explanation below still applies.
Use the subject line Ribbonside account deletion request and email from the address used for your Ribbonside account where possible.
To request deletion of Ribbonside-controlled online data while keeping your account, use the subject line Ribbonside data deletion request and tell us which data you want deleted. Local-vault data can only be erased from the device because Ribbonside cannot access it remotely.
We may need to verify your identity before deleting online account records.
Open Ribbonside, go to Account, choose Delete account, then follow the confirmation steps. The app asks you to type DELETE before it sends the deletion request.
If you have uninstalled Ribbonside or cannot access the app, email support with your deletion request. Include enough information for us to identify your account, but do not send Medicare numbers, medical record numbers, full reports, or unnecessary health details.
When deletion succeeds in the app, Ribbonside erases the local health vault on that device and deletes or de-identifies Ribbonside-controlled online account, consent, support, subscription, security, and AI usage-limit records where reasonably possible.
Limited records may be retained where needed for legal, security, billing, dispute, backup, audit, abuse-prevention, or service-integrity reasons. Provider logs and backups may persist until their normal cycle expires.
