Between appointments

Save questions, side effects, notes and photos before the week blurs and the next visit arrives.

When things get scattered

Bring notes, photos and treatment reminders out of scraps of paper and your camera roll.

Save names, doses, notes and reminder times you choose to add.

03

Documents

Backup & Restore

Keep a copy you can restore.

Your backup is created only when you choose. Ribbonside does not automatically upload your health vault or create cloud backups.

01

Create your copy

Ribbonside packages valid records still stored in your vault, including retained inactive or completed history, a records PDF, and available photos and documents.

02

Save it privately

You choose where to save or share the readable, unencrypted ZIP. Anyone with access to the file can read it.

03

Restore carefully

Sign in to the same Ribbonside account and restore only into a completely empty health vault. Restore does not merge with or replace existing records.

04

Check the result

Keep the original ZIP until you have checked the restore. Reminder permissions and schedules may need review afterwards.

Settings

Clear controls, no mystery.

Privacy, subscriptions, local vault controls, optional Apple Health access on iPhone, and account deletion are surfaced in the app so you can make changes when you need to.

01

Local vault

Core health records, photos and documents are stored on your device.

02

Privacy and consent

Review legal notices, consent choices, exports and deletion controls.

03

Apple Health on iPhone

Connect optional read-only Apple Health activity signals on iPhone, then revoke access at any time in iPhone settings.

04

Store subscriptions

Manage or cancel your subscription through the store where you subscribed. Refund requests are handled under that store's policies.

Vanessa during chemotherapy treatment

My Story

Why I built Ribbonside.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2025. After that came two surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and now hormone blockers.

What I struggled with most was the amount of information I had to take in. There were protocols to follow, medication times to remember, appointments to prepare for, care team details to keep track of, questions to ask, and the constant anxiety that I would forget something important.

Chemo brain and fatigue made it harder. I was scribbling things everywhere. My camera roll, which used to be full of family photos, quickly became photos of healing issues, treatment issues and appointment reminders.

The idea for Ribbonside started during chemotherapy. In May 2026, with no tech experience, I began building it with AI and have funded it myself the whole way because I wanted a practical organiser for people going through this.

Private records on your device

Core health records, photos and documents are normally stored in Ribbonside's encrypted local vault on your device. Ribbonside does not create automatic cloud backups. A readable backup ZIP leaves the vault only when you choose to create and save it.

Plain-English help

What does this mean? is limited to short typed questions and general explanations. It is not personalised medical advice.

Clear user control

Create or restore a backup, delete local records, export your data, manage subscriptions through your app store, and revoke Apple Health access on iPhone.
